Negative Stain Protocol

1. Carbon coat, and freshly Ionise grids.

2. Float grid on diluted protein for 1 minute.

3. Wash grid with tris buffer or cacodylate buffer.

4. Float grid on 1-2% acidic UA 20-60 seconds.

5. Draw off excess stain with # 50 whatman filter paper, let air dry.
